Some days you eat the crab ...

... some days the crab eats you.

Name:
phoebesmum
I live in Oxfordshire; I read, I write, I ... don't do arithmetic if I can help it. I work (sadly only peripherally these days) in the book trade, which is sometimes interesting, oftentimes frustrating, but mostly just means I get paid very little. Currently I get paid even less, as I'm on long-term sick leave. Thank heavens for DW and LJ, which are a lifeline to what passes for the real world.

Because I never shut up, I can also be found Twittering here, and on Facebook under my own name (link removed because it showed up in Google searches, never a good idea). And slowly, ever so slowly, I am archiving my fanfic at An Archive of Our Own, or 'AAOOO', as I prefer to call it: here.

I've recently been diagnosed with peritoneal cancer. I try not to whine about it too much, but occasionally feel I should let people know what's going on. This doesn't make for the world's most cheerful or interesting journal. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible ... I hope.
